Nanaksar is a sacred village located near
Kaleran village, nearly five km from Jagraon in
Punjab. It is about 48 km west of
Ludhiana and 25 km north-west of
Raikot.
It is the place where great rishis and munis lived during the golden age (Satyayug).
Gurdwara Nanaksar Sahib, a Sikh shrine noted for its elegance and architecture, is situated here. A great fair for five days is celebrated here annually.
Nanaksar is well linked with nearby places by road. Regular buses and taxies are available for travel. Nanaksar Railway Station is on the Ludhiana-Ferozepur rail route. Ludhiana Airport is the nearest airport.
