Nanaj

Nanaj is situated 10 km south-west of Rajuri, in the south-eastern tip of Ahmednagar District, in Maharashtra. Jamkhed is 13 km north and Jowla is around 10 km towards the south-west. Ahmednagar - the district headquarters – is 84 km to the north-west.

Nanaj enfolds the main region of the Great Indian Bustard Wildlife Sanctuary. Rehekuri Blackbuck Sanctuary is another popular wildlife haunt, within easy access from Nanaj.
