Located on
Bhuj-Mandvi main road, Nana Asambia Village is about 40 km from Bhuj and 20 km from Mandvi. It is on the banks of river Rukmavati, and was under the rule of Jadeja Hardhodji, son of one of the five queens of
Kutch's rav Shri Tamachji. The earlier name of the village was 'Bhatt'.
There are many religious centers and temples. Shri Achalgach Nana Asmabia Jain Derasar is a Jain temple. Some of the Hindu religious places are Shri Cheda's Kuldevi’s place, Shri Ambaima’s place and Samanthdada's place. Sacred spots to the Muslims include
dargah of Shri Odadmasha pir, Shri Karimsha Pir's dargah, and Shri Ashpir's dargah. There are two dharmasalas also.
