Nalbana is one of the charming islands in the
Chilika Lake, in
Orissa. Covered with low vegetation, this low, flat marshy island is about 35 sq km long. Nalbana Island forms the core of the
Chilika Wildlife Sanctuary owing to its varied flora and fauna.
