Naku is located in the extreme northern part of North Sikkim District in Sikkim. It lies near the Indo-China border and the entire region is surrounded by mighty snowcapped peaks and glaciers.
Lhonak Chhu flows nearby. It is around 70 km north of Mangan, the district headquarters.
