Nahargarh Fort

Nahargarh Fort, also known as Tiger fort, is situated 6 km north-west of City Palace. Embraced in the Nahargarh Hills, Nahargarh Fort of Jaipur was built by Sawai Raja Jai Singh in 1734. It is the first of the three forts built by the rulers of Jaipur. The fort provides a breathtaking view of Mansagar Lake and Jaipur city. Though in ruins, the fort has pretty buildings which have been well preserved. It is open to the visitors daily from 10:00 - 17:00 hrs, except on public holidays.
