Nageswara Park




Nageswara Park, at Mylapore in Chennai District, was opened to the public in 1940. This beautifully landscaped park contains walkways and fountains, and many films have been shot here. The well-maintained garden has advanced lighting and facilities for relaxation and recreation, as well as a rich variety of ornamental and medicinal plants. The main varieties of trees found in the park are Lapostromea, Capsia Fistula and Tabulia and foliage trees like Pungam, Neem, Palms, Ficus Religeosa and Thespesia. There is also a separate play area for children. The park is open on all days.
