Nagar Barsot is a small township situated in
Hazaribagh District of
Jharkhand. It lies near the National Highway connecting
Barkatha and Barhi. The
Grand Trunk Road, which was the most important means of military communication between the lower provinces and northern India from 1780 to 1858, passes nearby.
Some of the nearby places are Padma, Tilra, Ichak, and Lundru. The Barakar River flows very close to this village. Ram Kund, Sita Kund, and Laxman Kund are holy sites easily accessible from here.
Nagar Barsot is well connected by road with Barhi. Ranchi Airport and Koderma Railway Station are the nearest access points.
