Nagapattinam Port

Nagapattinam Port is classified as an intermediate port. It is on the western bank of the Kaduvayar River. The facilities of the port are wharves, provisions, platform weigh-bridge of 20 ton capacity, workshop, slipway, cranes, signaling and motor launches. There is a stacking area to an extent of 13,000 sq meter. There are 9 cargo sheds with a total storage facility of about 51,000 ton.
