Nagaon is a small picturesque settlement on the Arabian Sea coast, about 7 km south of Alibag, in Raigad District. The place is famous for its long stretches of calm water and golden sand beach. Alibag Beach and Chaul, a historic place with Portuguese ruins, are quite nearby.
