Myajlar, also spelt Miajlar, is situated in the southernmost part of
Jaisalmer District in the desert state of
Rajasthan. It lies on the road which runs in the south-western direction via
Lodurva. The nearest town is Sato, 9 km to the east.
Some of the other towns at an easily approachable distance are Nuriala, Daw and Sundra. Jaisalmer, the district headquarters, lies to the north of this town and holds some of the major tourist attractions and beautiful havelis.
Myajlar is rich in oil and gas resources.
