Mutheesam Temple

Mutheesam Temple is situated at Piravathanam in Kanchipuram. Mutheeshwar is the principal deity of the temple. The temple has an idol of Lord Shiva, believed to be installed by sage Vamadeva. Legend is that, this idol was taken from Kailash.
