Muskaan, also called Parent's Association for the Welfare of Mentally Challenged Children, was established in 1982 in
New Delhi. The organization aims to work for the welfare of mentally challenged children.
Muskaan Vocational Training is a recreation program that is helpful for providing training in different types of vocations such as candle making, stationery making, block painting, office management and classroom management.
Multi-service camps are arranged by medical and paramedical professionals to give individual guidance to the parents of mentally challenged children. A parent-to-parent counseling center also functions under the management of Muskaan. Picnics, sports competitions and painting competitions are arranged regularly. A bi-annual newsletter is also published.
