Munriar

Munriar is about 17 km to the north-east of Sasaram, in Rohtas District of Bihar. It is located at an altitude of 252 ft above sea level, on the western banks of the Son River.

Dehri on Sone, Nasriganj and Sidhauli are the neighboring towns.

Rohtasgarh Fort, on the Kaimur Hills, is an interesting destination. Bhaluni Dham and Tarachandi are noted for its religious sites. Gurdwara Chacha Phaggu Mal is a pilgrim center for the Sikhs.

Munriar is served by Patna Airport and Dehri On Sone Railway Station on the Sasaram - Gaya rail route.
