Munigiri Teerth is a Jain Temple located at Karande village in
Thiruvannamalai District,
Tamil Nadu. This
teerth is dedicated to Bhagvan Kunthunath. This site got its name (Munigiri, or the land of saints) from the belief that many Jain ascetics since the third century AD performed penance here. This temple was gifted with land by many reputed kings.
An annual fair, called tappotsava, is held in this temple every year. The fair has special significance for the Jains. The temple is managed by Shri Kunthunath Bhagvan Jain Mandir Trust. The nearest railway station is
