Mundiyad is around 25 km from
Nagaur District headquarters. Situated in
Nagaur taluk, it is a popular tourist destination and has great archeological importance. It is believe that this village was established by Mundra Maheshwari. An old Mataji temple,
chhatris of Jagirdars and charans of the medieval period are the prime attractions. A small
Ganesh temple is also situated in this place.
