Originating from the northern
Western Ghats of India, Mula-Mutha Rivers flow through
Pune city. The city is located right at the confluence of these rivers. More than 100 species of fishes are found here. The river system is a part of the Krishna river valley development project. Bund garden, located on the right bank of the Mula-Mutha Rivers, built by Sir Jamshedji Jeejeebhoy, is the main tourist attraction. The famous Ganesh temple of Theur is also located here. Boating facilities are available for the visitors.
