Mul Dwarkadish Temple




Mul Dwarkadish Temple is situated on the way to Dwarka, about 25 km north of Porbandar, in Gujarat. This ancient temple, believed to be more than 2500 years old, is dedicated to Lord Krishna. This five-storied temple consists of Nij Mandir, a hall of audience, Sabha Griha and a conical spire-Shikhar. Mul Dwarkadish Temple features intricate carvings on its walls.

Legend has it that Lord Krishna had stopped here on his journey to Dwarka from Mathura. There is a Shiva Temple opposite to Mul Dwarkadish Temple.
