Mukundara Temple




Mukundara Temple, built around 5th century, is a flat-roofed, sand-stone temple situated at Mukundara in Kota District, Rajasthan.

The temple stands on a low platform, which is approached by two lateral flights of steps, and rests on beautifully finished pillars with distinctive brackets. This temple is significant for its simplicity and is decorated in the Gupta style.

The temple can be easily accessed by bus from Kota.
