Muguda Jain Temple enshrines the idol of Bhagwan Parshwanath in standing posture. There are also idols of Goddess Padmavathi Devi and idols of different Jain gods found inside the temple.
An inscription on stone lying near the shrine tells about the construction of a drama theater. It belongs to the period of Kalyana Chalukyan Someshwara I in 1045.
The temple is about 10 km from Dharwad.
