Muchilottu Kavu, one of the 18 temples of Muchilottu Bhagavathi, is situated at
Perne in
Kasargod District. Perne is 5 km east of
Kumbla, on the Kumbla–
Bedadka route.
The festival, which is peculiar to this temple is Pooram Festival in the month of Meenam. The highlight of the festival is the mass marriage. The famous Ananthapuram Lake Temple is situated nearby.
