Mohini Ekadashi




Mohini Ekadashi, also known as Vaishak Shukla Ekadashi, falls during the light fortnight of Baisakh (April-May). This Ekadashi is believed to remove all sins.

Madhusudhan along with his consort Madhvi is prayed with flowers of Mogra and Panas fruit. Porridge is the main offering. The devotees observe fasting till dusk on this day.

The glory of this Ekadashi is found mentioned the Kurma Purana - a Hindu treatise containing 17,000 verses.
