According to Hindu mythology, Mohini is the female form of
Lord Vishnu. She is regarded as one of the polymorphous analogues of Vishnu. With her supernatural beauty, Mohini enticed the asuras to get the share of amrita (nectar of immortality) that was obtained after the Churning of the ocean of milk.
Lord Ayyappa is said to be the son of Shiva and the Mohini form of Vishnu.
