Situated on the banks of the Mahanadi, Mohera is a small town in Dhamtari District of Chhattisgarh. Dhamtari, the district headquarters, is around 50 km west. Raipur, the state capital, lies about 63 km north.
Gangrel Dam, Sihava, Rudreshwar Temple and Bilai Mata are the tourist interests in the region.
