Mirzapur

Mirzapur is in Murshidabad District of West Bengal. It is located about 130 km from Bardhaman and 7 km south of Jangipur. Mirzapur is bounded by Takipur in the west, Bakharali in the north, Lalgola (18 km east), Phulbari and Sagardighi in the south.

Kherur mosque, the palace of Hossain Shah, and the Chandanbati temple, Farakka Barrage and Nimtita Zamindari palace are the main landmarks.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport serves Mirzapur. Lalgola Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
