Minghal is a popular fair of
Pangi Valley, which is celebrated in the month of September. During this fair, the devotees recite the tales describing the brave deeds of the Goddess Bhagwati, and the temple dedicated to this goddess is beautifully decorated.
There is a belief that the power of the goddess enters the body of one of her devotees on this day. As a result, he runs into the forest and return with an enormous tree trunk on his back, which is chopped by himself. Several goats are sacrificed during the fair.
