Minerva Theater is one of the ancient theaters in
Kolkata. Established in 1893, the maiden play was ‘Macbeth’. Although destroyed in a fire in 1922, the theater was renovated after three years and retained its glory. Today Minerva Theater regularly stages plays and remains a center of attraction.
