Menggo Kol (cave of the cat) is a beautiful cave with magnificent rock formations around it in
South Garo Hills District of Meghalaya.
Rock fossils resembling hairs of the cat can be seen inside the cave. The Chiring Maheskola River flows underground for about 3 km below wakso and emerges at Menggo Kol. The cave was called so as the cave used to be inhabited by white cats.
