Melkudalur is a Jain heritage center located near Gingee in
Viluppuram District,
Tamil Nadu. The place has a natural cave containing more than thirty-five stone berths. A raised platform in the middle of the cave is occupied by the chief monk. A Parshwanatha sculpture of the ninth century can be found on the northern side of the cave.
