This
Shiva temple is located at Melankodu near Kumarakoil,
Kanyakumari District. The deity of the temple is Kalakalar. It is one of the Shivalaya Ottam temples in the state. The great saint Vyagrapadhar has visited this temple. The temple is situated in the middle of paddy fields. The temple can be reached from Kumarakoil by traveling 2 km.
