Mehidpur

Mehidpur, a taluk headquarters town, is situated 30 km east of Nagda and about 50 km north of Ujjain, in Ujjain District, Madhya Pradesh. The Shipra River flows through this town.

Shri Avanti Parshwanath Teerth, Ram Ghat and Bhartrihari Caves at Ujjain, Ghataia and Tarana are the sacred sites located nearby.

The nearest airport is at Indore. Ujjain Junction Railway Station and Nagda Junction Railway Station serve Mehidpur.
