Meenthalakara

Meenthalakara is a scenic hamlet in Pathanamthitta District of Kerala. It is about two km from Thiruvalla on the Thiruvalla-Kozhencherry route. The village is famous for Shri Dharmasastha Temple, a famous temple dedicated to Lord Ayyappa. The annual festival celebrated in this temple attracts thousands of devotees from far and near.

Meenthalakara is easily accessible by local buses from Kozhencherry and Thiruvalla. Thiruvalla Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Cochin International Airport, 102 km from Thiruvalla, is the nearest airport.
