Mayodia Pass




A snow-capped tiny gateway to the Indo-China border, Mayodia Pass is at an altitude of 2,655 m. Located in Lower Dibang Valley District of Arunachal Pradesh, it is named after Maya, a Nepali girl who vanished in the snow and could not be traced.

This highest point in the district is an ideal trekking destination. Snowfall begins here in November and continues till April.
