Mayanur

Mayanur, also spelt Mayanoor, is a small settlement situated on the outskirts of Karur in Karur District, Tamil Nadu. Kattupputtur is situated in the north, Thottiyam in the east and Krishanarayapuram in the east. Cauvery River flows by the town.

Maha Lakshmi Amman Temple at Krishanarayapuram, Pasupatheeswarar Temple at Karur, Kalyana Venkattaramasami Temple, Vennaimalai Subramanyar Temple, Tiruveengoimalai Maragathachaleswarar Temple, Rock Fort at Tiruchirapalli and Shantivanam Church are tourist spots in the area.
