Max Mueller Bhavan, a branch of the Goethe-Institute, in
Chennai organizes various programs for developing strong Indo-German cultural relations. It conducts Gernan language classes for people of different age groups. Events such as exhibitions, film shows, theater performances, concerts, seminars, symposia and workshops on topics of mutual interest are arranged for presenting the German culture and to foster the international/bilateral co-operation. The Max Mueller Bhavan has two libraries in Chennai, the German Library and the Gurukul German Library.
