Mawsmai Cave, also known as Krem Phyllut, is situated near the Nohsngithiang Falls and the entry to the cave starts from the village, Mawsmai which is to the south of Cherrapunjee. The opening is very narrow and vertical and the inside of the cave contains big amphitheater-like halls with endless galleys varying in shape and size. It also has a large number of stalagmites and stalactites. This large cave is dark inside and when lighted, radiates the crystal colours on its walls.
