Mawjymbuin Caves

Mawjymbuin Caves, situated 56 km from Shillong, are natural caves. Inside the cave, there is a giant stalagmite in the shape of a Shivlinga, which is constantly bathed in water issuing from a stalactite, shaped like a cow’s udder. It is locally known as Mawjymbuin.

The nearest railway station and airport are at Guwahati. The place is also well connected by road.
