Mau is a small town situated in Chitrakut District. It lies to the east of Chitrakut, a well known pilgrim town in the Bundelkhand region. This town, close to Kaushambi District border, is about 17 km from Sarai Akil, 24 km from Raipura and 26 km from Rajapur.
