Matthipara Church, one of the ancient churches in
Kerala, is situated at
Kadanad in
Kottayam District. The present church was built in 1960. It is devoted to Mar Sleeva St Geevarghese and houses the mission league of Vincent De Paul Sakyam.
Kadanad, situated on the way to Thodupuzha, can be easily approached from Pala. The nearest major railhead is Kottayam Railway Station.
