In and around this village, there are a number of temples; among this a Shiva temple situated in the middle of a deep pond is quite attractive. Guru Nanak Sahib and Guru Har Rai Sahib is said to have visited this village. A gurdwara, Gurdwara Mattan Sahib, built in the memory of Guru Nanak Sahib is situated here.
