Mata Rani Ka Mela is a fair celebrated at Bhadaur village in
Sangrur District of
Punjab. It is dedicated to Shitla Mata and is observed during the months of March-April.
It is said that one Kirpa, Balmiki by caste, built a temple here and the idol of Shitla installed therein. People worship the deity and offer animals like sheep, pigs and goats. Hundreds of devotees, both Hindus and Sikhs, attend this fair.
