Mashen

Mashen is on the banks of the Arabian Sea, in the south-western region of South Goa District. It is in Canacona taluk and is near the Goa-Karnataka border. Poinguinim is around 5 km away and Loliem is 3 km to the south. The Galjibaga River flows close by. Rajbhag Beach, Galjibag Beach, Polem Beach and Giant Banyan Tree at Partagal are popular destinations accessible. The National Highway 17 has its route through this place and the Margao-Ankola railway line passes nearby. Goa Airport and Canacona Railway Station are the main access points.
