Maruti Temple




Maruti Temple is a landmark situated in the north-western part of Karnataka, in Belgaum District. It is located about 350 km north-west of Bangalore. The temple is believed to be of the Chalukyan era and is endowed with some antiquities of that time. The main idol is Maruthi (Lord Hanuman).

Other attractions nearby are the Kapileshwar Temple, the Ananthashyana Temple and the St. Mary's Chruch built in 1869.

Belgaum Airport, Belgaum Railway Station and Belgaum Central Bus Station are the nearest access points.
