Markha

Markha is located in Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir and falls in the Markha Valley. It lies at an altitude of 4150 m on the banks of the Markha River.

Markha is about 60 km south of Leh and is one of the catchment areas of Hemis High Altitude National Park. A trek route from Spituk to Korzok passes through Markha.
