Marang La is a mountain pass located in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is at a height of about 5,270 m above sea level and can be approached by crossing the
Zara River from
Zhabuk. One gets a good view of the
Himalayas while traveling through Marang La. A descent from this pass towards Darcha takes one through the banks of the Tsarap Chu. This pass is on the
Manali -
Leh road.
