Mar Thoma Syrian Church is located at
Kalyan in
Thane District. It commenced its activities in 1951 and has Malayalam and English services. The church conducts Sunday school, prayer groups, teenager’s fellowships, young couple’s fellowships and senior citizen fellowships.
The church organizes numerous programs for the socio-economic upliftment of the poor and needy people in and around Kalyan. There is also a school for mentally disabled children under the Mar Thoma Syrian Church.
