Mar Kundukulam Memorial Research and Rehabilitation Centre (MKMRRC) aims at providing necessary mental, physical and human support to AIDS victims. It was founded in 1999 at Peringadoor village in
Thrissur District.
The center, under the sponsorship of the Kerala Government Aids Cell, provides all kinds of treatment for the inmates, including allopathic and ayurvedic treatments along with massage therapy, prayer therapy and horticultural therapy. It also offers counseling services to the affected patients as well as their close relatives. The center has an excellent team of medical practitioners, nurses, social workers, counselors as well as full time helpers.
