Built in 1988, Mar Gregorios Jacobite Syrian Chapel is a major place of worship located at Karukadam (Ambalampadi) on
Muvattupuzha-
Kothamangalam road. The altars of this church are dedicated to St Thomas, Mar Gregorios and Mar Elias III Patriarch. This is an autonomous chapel functioning under the Angamali diocese of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church. The chapel has a shrine dedicated to St George also.
