Mar Athanasios College for Advanced Studies (MACFAST) is a postgraduate school situated on the M C Road between
Thiruvalla and
Chengannur, in
Pathanamthitta District. The college, amid lush green tropical trees, is in a modern multi-storeyed building with a total built-up area of 175,000 sq ft. MACFAST is owned and managed by the Corporate Educational Agency of the Catholic Diocese of Thiruvalla.
Affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, the college offers specially developed diploma and post graduate courses in the fields of information technology, biosciences and management studies. The college building consists of lecture halls, seminar rooms, conference halls, research labs and a well-stocked business, IT and bioscience library as well as a digital library.
