Mansi Ganga is a large masonry tank situated at Goverdhan, a famous place of Hindu pilgrimage in
Mathura District of
Uttar Pradesh. Goverdhan is about 26 km west of
Mathura, on the state highway to
Deeg.
The tank is believed to have been brought into existence by the action of the divine will. The enclosures, built by Raja Bhagwan Das in 1637, and a long flight of steps, built by Raja Man Singh, are major sights.
Close to the tank are Hari Deva Temple and Kusum Sarovar with exquisitely carved cenotaphs of the members of the royal family of Bharatpur.
